Description: We thank the M.g.t. & G.c.c. (Pioneers) of Muhammad’s Mosque #1 in Detroit, Michigan upon whose backs we stand on for creating the Wholesome Nutritious Muslim Cooking Cookbook. These mouth watering recipes are from the original first edition cookbook compiled to share with the Believers and their families a greater ease in cooking and a guide to a healthier mindset for food. The Wholesome Nutritious Muslim Cooking recipes provide a basic hands on approach to creating delicious nutritious cuisines based on the How to Eat to Live books by the Honorable Elijah Muhammad. As M.g.t., we are tasked with the awesome responsibility of maintaining the health and well being of our families through what and how we cook. We are responsible for producing a nutritious meal daily for our family. We are forever grateful for this first edition of valuable original recipes by the Detroit M.g.t & G.c.c. to assist us in this endeavor. Praise God! “There is no way for us to learn the right way to eat in order to live a long life, except through the guidance and teachings of Allah, Who came in the Person of Master Fard Muhammad. The Bible says that He will give us more life abundancy, but He demands strict obedience to His Will. There is no way of prolonging the life of human beings—or any other life – unless it begins with restrictions of the foods which sustain life; the right kinds of food and the proper time when it should be taken into our bodies.” (the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad, How to Eat to Live, Book One)
