Description: Our beautiful Cookbook of 2017! A beautiful cookbook with a photo of Saint Miriam entrance on the cover. It expresses our church's community mission with an open door that welcomes everyone. The personal pages gives everyone a little history of Saint Miriam, an insight of the Women of Saint, and explanations of our Small Groups and Masses.

Funds raised support: This is a fundraiser to support the Women of Saint Miriam so we can continue our missions of supporting the church and school, honoring and remembering loved ones through Mass and Sanctuary Lamp donations. The support of the community through outreach to Laurel House, a local organization that provides services to adults and children impacted by domestic violence; homeless shelters; local prison and school libraries; and others in need. As members of an inclusive Catholic parish, our concern for others who have suffered injustice has resulted in initiating an Interfaith Forum to promote understanding among different religions.

Momma Lorraine’s Meatloaf

  • 2 lbs. meatloaf mix (beef, veal & ¼ c. chopped onions pork)
  • ¼ c. chopped mixed peppers
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 2 T. hot sauce 1 tsp. pepper
  • ¼ c. ketchup
  • 1 (14.5 oz.) can College Inn®
  • 1⁄8 c. onion powder
  • Chicken Broth with Roasted Garlic
  • 1⁄8 c. garlic powder
  • 2 T. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 eggs
  • Bread Crumbs (Italian) - enough to make a good consistency to make a loaf

Preheat oven 350°. Mix all ingredients in large bowl. Prepare a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray. Pour the mixture into the baking dish and form a loaf. Cover the dish with foil and place in the oven. Keep foil on dish until the loaf reaches 145°. Remove the foil and bake the loaf until it reaches 165° or more, approximately 60 minutes. Make sure the loaf is nice and brown.
