Savory Spaghetti Casserole

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 c. onion, chopped
  • 1/4 c. green pepper, chopped
  • 2 T. butter
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of tomato soup
  • 1 soup can of water
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 c. sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 lb. spaghetti, cooked and drained

Cook beef, onion and green pepper in butter until meat is lightly browned and vegetables are tender. Stir to separate meat. Add mushroom and tomato soup, water and garlic. Heat. Blend meat mixture with 1/2 c. cheese and cooked spaghetti in 3 qt. casserole dish. Top with remaining cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes until bubbly and hot.
