All Day Beef Stew

  • 3 lbs. stew beef
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 4 tsp. salt
  • 1 10-1/2 oz. can beef broth
  • 2 c. dry red wine
  • 4 medium carrots, cut into 1" pieces
  • 6 potatoes
  • 1 20-oz. bag frozen green beans
  • 1-1/2 lbs. small onions (about 18)
  • 1 T. brown sugar
  • 1 bay leaf, broken
     
 
Combine all ingredients in a large roasting pan. Cook 6 hours at 250 degrees, stirring occasionally.
